I started getting odd text messages with trivia info. Each msg ended with - "If you have questions, dial XXX-XXX-XXXX" After receiving a few of them, I sent a text back saying "Please stop texting me". I then received another message saying that they have confirmed my cancellation from their service and that all charges would stop. "What charges!!!???" So I called them, spoke with a telemarketing person, and was informed that a $9.95 charge had been added to my cell bill from a 3rd party vendor called Mobile Media Solutions. I don't EVER remember signing up for any service or authorizing them to bill me for anything! The telemarketer was very sweet, though, and immediately said that she would put in a complaint for me and that I should expect a check within 10 days. BUT — this made me wonder how many other people are being charged for this silly service... And don't even know it. SOOOOO unethical!!!
