Like others, I noticed a $9.99 charge on my T-Mobile bill that I didn't request. On Nov. 19 I received a text message from Quiz4Now and Cellarea Trivia saying my monthly charges were being 'renewed.' Since I didn't know what this was about, I didn't respond as I was afraid a response would trigger an unwanted fee. When it appeared on back-to-back monthly statements I went into my local T-Mobile store and the rep said "this is happening a lot." She told me to text "Stop" as a reply to the 11/19 text and I received an immediate reply saying subscriptions had been cancelled. However, when I called to get the charges removed, I was told that wasn't possible since I had given authorization on 10/18, received a text message with a PIN code and used went back online with that PIN code authorizing the charges. When I asked for written and documented verification that I was sent the text message and that I had agreed to these charges I was told "We can't do that, but it know you signed up for this since it's in the system." Everyone needs to contact their state BBB and local media to put pressure on these folks and to get monies refunded.
