I had been saving just enough money from my disability benefits in April to re-up my cell phone minutes, and when I logged on to check my account tonite, low and behold there was a pending cash charge made in Florida, which I have never been in my entire life. I called c/s for my debit card immediatly, and was told that since it had not been paid yet (settled transaction) that there was nothing they could do about it. I told the lady that this has happened to me before, with a pending charge made, from another company in another state that I have never been to, and that they (my debit card) stopped the payment from being made and also was told it had not yet been paid so it was good. Ironically, both these charges were something to do with cars/automobiles...! I also told her that when I looked online to research the company to verify this was in fact not anything to do with any charges I had made, it came up immediatly that the company is fraudulent. Warnings all over the place about this company, yet my debit card company will not do anything until it is actually a paid transaction! Then I can dispute it but not until! So why were they able to stop payment once before and not now??? Especially since there has been a national breach of peoples' debit/credit cards??? I am poor folk and 10 bucks is 10 bucks to me! I need that money!
