Re: Electricity account reconciliation and refund of deposit money.
We had two business electricity accounts with TAMPA Electrci in our business name Shefali Food Services d/b/a Danny Boys Restaurant at 3808 Sun City Center, Ruskin, Florida 33573. We reported 5 or 6 times to Tampa Electric that our business operation was closed after 31 July. The power was disconnected on or before August 27 from our business premises. We have security deposits of $2110 for one account and $1572 for the second account.
We requested many times to reconcile our accounts and send us balance money to settle our two business accounts. Every time TECO promised to send us final adjustment invoice but we never get their mail.
We did not ask anything from TECO Energy but they reconciled our gas account and sent us the balance. This is a classic example of a service provider. We were expecting a similar action from Tampa Electric and a refund of more than $1500 but they did nothing till today and every time we rang them they gave us false promise saying they are going to send us the final adjustment.
In this circumstance, we are requesting your office to intervene in this matter and help us getting our deposit money back. We look forward to receiving your urgent action in this regard and communication to us by express mail to our mailing address given below.
