I also had a problem with Cal-Prop management! They're horrible to work with, took my entire security deposit without even explaining what they spent the money on, and came to my home UNANNOUNCED a number of times to tour the apartment while I was gone. I have never been so displeased as a renter before. They raised my rent, then when I told them I had to move out because of it - they rushed my move out, had people over all the time, and to make matters worse - they were rude! Normally this kind of stuff doesn't bother me - but I felt compelled to do a quick search on them and IM NOT ALONE.

I wish http://yelp.com would let me post this without a star because they are the worst.
We lived in one of their run down properties off of Diamond and I don't know what made us regret our year lease more; the termite infested bathtub in the mornings or the poor quality of customer service the office had.
Once our lease was signed, communication with them was slim to none. Voice mails went unanswered until you mentioned your one year lease and their side of it.
The two story apartments are so termite infested and poorly insulated that there were some areas in the floor that are questionable.
I would never let my friends rent from these guys.
