Back in august of last year I ordered a highlander series sword. Site said it would take 2 to 3 weeks for orders. 4 almost 5 weeks passed and still no sword. So I contacted them via email. Took them awhile to get back. They said it was on backorder. Their site did not say item was backordered and I wasnt contacted to tell me so. So that I could make decision if I wanted to cancel or not. I waited a lil longer then emailed to cancel in mid september. I go no emails back. Then in mid october I recieved a phone call from some VP and they spent over an hour on the phone with me trying to get me to reconsider and to purchase more items. I told them I was not interested in purchasing anything else. I did however reconsider with sword and they placed the order for me and gave me price from august. He told me the sword was hand crafted n made in usa. He also promised to either call or email me every week or every other week til sword came in stock and was about to ship. I have not heard from him or anyone at davis merchandising aka legendary heroes since. I told him on the phone that if I did not recieve the sword by december and it getting closer to christmas I would be cancelling the order. He assured me it wouldnt come to this. So december 10th comes around and still no sword and no email. So I had enough I emailed and told to cancel. I got an email saying was cancelled. But so many weeks pass and Janurary 5th of this year a long box arrived on my doorstep. I thought perhaps it was a car part that my dad ordered. As I wasnt expecting anything else in a box shapped like this one. Later that evening dad brought item in and said it was addressed to me so we opened the box and what did we find a highlander sword. Except it wasnt made in us nor handcrafted in us. It was made in china. Well I didnt order this item. So I emailed the company telling them everything I had gone threw and that a sword that I didnt order arrived on my door step less than 24 hrs before. Asked them what was up. All I got back was that their records showed that a sword arrived at my house the day before. They did not address what I emailed and asked. So I waited a few more days for a response and nothing so I emailed the better business bureau and they tried to contact the company and get them to work with bbb. However after a few attempts to contact legendary hereos they got no response either. So they emailed and suggested that I contact federal trade commission and states attorney general. And there was a lawsuit I could persue. And that they would have my complaint on the BBB site for 3 yrs. So after that I tried leaving comments on the Legendary Hereos Highlander facebook and no reply their but they would reply to everyone else. I emailed again and then tried contacting on their site and i got an error msg. So I emailed using yahoo and nothing. So then on Feb 2nd I tried again. Nothing. So I had had enough and got my dad involved. He called and a Rose spoke to him. She wasnt very nice. My dad kept his cool and tried to get situation taken care of. She had him email her at some personal email account. Then no response so yesterday dad called again and from the beginning Rose was very irrate rude beligerant etc. Threatening that she was gonna get very upset and pissed off and might say stuff etc. She was screaming on phone basically. So loud that my mom who was across the room could hear the conversation for most part. So after that finally got an RA number and we are returning item but there is no guarentee yet that we wont just get sword back and them try to charge us fees and not give money back. Also noted before I forget when a Michelle Williams emailed to tell me was on backorder she didnt use a company email addy she used a gmail account that was some random letters and 3 numbers. She worked as sales manager and customer service. The mr jones vp talked to broke promises and lied to me about sword. There is alot more I could tell but be here all night reading. I just wanted to post so ppl will know that this company or at least the customer service department are not acting professional mature and like a business is supposed to. Had they just had ups come pick up the item with a sticker and refunded us back in december or before we wouldnt be in the mess now. I feel like they are scamming us and giving run around.
