OCS stole my children. I finished all case plan succefully and in a timely manor which was recomended by ocs. I had no charges of neglect or child abuse. I have no criminal record at all. I fought them for five years, jumping through hoops like an idiot, each time i would complete something they would tell me ok do this one more thing an we will give your children back. They kept getting court dates postponed to draw out the case to make it look to the judge as if it was me that was taking so long to complete my case plan. They lied to the judge about everything that happened. They coached my children and turned things around that they told them. OCS made me look like a monster. When my youngest of the three was a baby, she would bite her sisters and myself so i would gently put my teeth on her little arm to show her it hurt us, i would barly put pressure, most moms do this technique. My other daughter told them of this so in the report they didnt explain any of this they just said that i wouod bite my youngest when she was bad. They said i whipped my kids with a wooden spoon. Ive never owned a wooden spoon before. Said my children were sleeping on a dirty matress without sheets. My grandma just had gave me that matress, my uncle had bought it but then he passed away just after. Its was a very clean matress. The stories go on an on. Everytime i would bring proof to the court house of my completions they wouod mysteriously disappear. The foster parents who had the youngest of the three wanted to adopt her. Ocs was not gonna stop until they helped this couple get my baby because they would get big bonuses for each adoption they made. After they realized i wasnt giving up they came to me an tried to bribe me. They asked me to give up my fight for my youngest an I would get my oldest two. I told them hell no. Things really got bad after that. I had just given birth to my fourth baby girl, they came in my home when she was five months saying she looked disoriented at times, it was a falsified report. So they retaliated against me. I stayed strong an kept up my fight for my babies. My grandma hired a lawyer for this case, we never did with the first case cause they kept telling me dont worry you will get them back if you do the things we ask. I nievely believed them for a good while. I finally got my youngets baby back about a year an a half later. I was proven fit to care for my youngest baby but still not for my oldest three. Hello that shouold have been a red flag for the judge right there. We were evacuating for hurricane gustav I believe it was when i received the call saying the went to court an my rights were taken just like that. I was crushed, I had to evacuate with this on my mind now. We ended up having to be gone out of town for almost two weeks. When we returned I went straight to the lawyer that was hired for the second case, he said i had like sixty days to file an appeal. I was gonna keep fighting, i told my girls i would never give up. Come to find out the lawyer was wrong i only had like 6 or 7 days to file the appeal. But i coulodnt do it at that time because the hurricane had everybody evacuated at this time. After hurricane katrina and rita we were jumpy about hurricanes heading our way, thats why we evacuated. I havent seen my children i over four years. I dont know if they are safe, happy, alive or god forbid dead. Im at a liss, i dont know where to go from here. I need help. There has to be something i can do at least about with what happened with my appeal were i can start fighting again. I will figure out a way for justice for my babies and myself.
