I was contacted to sell my time share. After a price was agreed on I was told to expect closing in a few days as they had all funds from the buyer. (I paid approx $2,000 for title transfer) After a few days I was informed that the closing wolud not take place until I paid an addl 19% in taxes required by the Mexican Govt. These taxes had to come from me but would be totally re embursed and then the closing could continue. Needless to say I suggested taking the taxes from my sale funds before they were issued to me. They countered with I could pay 51% of taxes and the buyer would pay the 49%. I again declined and then all contact with these people ceased.
