I was contacted by a company: FISHER and BROCK, with an offer to handle the sale of our Mexican time share to a interrested buyer. After price was agreed to, the offer was refered to LIBERTY UNITED for escrow processing.
Liberty United finally reported that the Mexican government charged a sales tax on real estate transactions within that country. These taxes would have to be paid to the Mexican government prior to their releasing the title for transfer.
We paid the taxes via wire transfer from our bank. Once the wire transfer was completed all communication with this company ended. Calls to the company are not returned. Calles to Fisher and Brock are not returned.
Complaints with the Attorney Generals of Indiana and Massachusetts have been filed.
Web sites for both companys are held by the same company: Domains By Proxy, Scottsdale, AZ.
