RevitaDerm
Consumer Report

On 2 November I was browsing a website under this address - http://australiaworldnews24.com/health-tips/skin-tips/index. It highlighted this fabulous face cream to reduce wrinkles. Being a woman in my late 40's it caught my eye. Reading an article & viewing photo's of a mum who has supposedly used this cream I was curious, especially when the words "FREE TRIAL" came up. It then directed me to another website called "www.revitadermwrinklecream.com/health/default". BOTH OF THESE WEBSITES NO LONGER EXIST.

Today I have located the same article on another website - http://chnews8.com/skin/au/look-20-years-younger/reports.php and have tried to "Add a comment" to warn people that this is a scam but it comes up with "Error on page"!!

Anyway, when initially reading the terms & conditions I saw that there was a 21 day trial period which states "If you wish to cancel your order within your 21-Day Trial Period, simply call customer service and within 30 days of your order and you will not be charged anything other than the shipping and handling fee".

The cost of the shipping along with the $19.99 for the weight loss tablets was debited from my credit card 2 days after I ordered it on 2Nov11 (in 3 separate transactions). I ordered as recommended, the "Perfect Radiance Face Serum" & "RevitaDerm Face Cream" which included a free "Perfect Radiance Eye Cream". It was also offering a reduced price to purchase some weight loss tablets for $19.99 which I took up. I received all 4 products approx 7 days after ordering them.

However, WITHIN the trial period (on 19Nov11) I was debited AUD77.78 from "Radiant Skincare Agios DometioCYFRGN" then one week later another $84.35 from "Revita Anti Age Agios DometioCYFRGN" and another week later for $20.38 from "Anti Age Revitaderm Agios DometioCYFRGN". I was disappointed to see that I was charged the first amount within the trial period as this didn't give me an opportunity to cancel within the specified period without chasing the company to get my money back! I tried calling several times the phone number on the "Terms & Conditions" but couldn't get through. I then emailed the company, which was sent successfully, but I have had no reply. As I am now out of my trial period and have not heard from the company & as I have been debited two more separate amounts I feel I have been scammed! I now have to go through the hassle of cancelling and changing all my direct debit's on my credit card to stop these people from debiting my account any further.

I don't know if anything can be done but if only to stop these frauds from targetting more unsuspecting women like myself would be a step in the right direction!

Thank you for your time

Karen
