I had A replacement speech processor for a cochlear implant, which was shipped byt the manufacturere, MED EL corporation, several yrs back, either stolen or lost cost someone (probably an impatient fed ex driver, signed my name, but i didnt rerceive it. It has a value of $6000, is computer programmed for my internal implant, and is of no value or use to anyone else. Now just last week, i ordered batteries from the same manufacturerefor the speech processors, again shipped by FEDX ground, 2day. It was shipped on a wed, due to arrive on a friday, but mistakenly had indirect signature requiered on it. When we missed the delivery, i called fed ex that night, and was told my package had been redirected to a fed ex store. When i called the store, they said they didnt have it, and didnt know what i was even talking about. I called the 800 # for fed exon a friday evening, and was told my package will not be delivered till the following buisness day, which they say is tuesday. Cause the call center rep is trying to tell me they dont deliver on monday.
