In March I purchased a Samsung microwave, and Kenmore cooktop & oven from Sears. The microwave did not work at all when installed. I was told by Customer Service that since I had picked up the appliances that there was nothing that Sears could do. I learned the following day that this was incorrect information but by then had purchased the same microwave elsewhere & @ a cheaper price. The oven has also been a disappointment. When it took much to long for foods to bake I purchased 5 different oven thermometers to discover that there was @ least a 50 degree swing in in the oven temp & it never did return to the set temp after putting in the food. The first repairman was condesending & inplied I didn't know how to bake. I have been baking for over 50 yrs!!! He made a minor adjustment & left. The oven did not work to my satisfaction & I called again. I did request that the same repair not be sent. The second repairman, Gary, was understanding & when he looked at the temp data I had collected told me would replace the probe & sensor. As it was Dec 24th the parts were not available but ordered. It took rescheduling the installation 3 times before I had both parts. The parts have been replaced & the oven still does not work as I think it should. I would not recommend that anyone purchase anything @ Sears, product & service are less than stellar. It took 6 weeks from the first call about the oven until parts replaced.
