I am living in the City of Walnut, California. Since it's a relatively new residential community, I do not have many choices on home telephone services at the time. When I signed with the Charter Communications in last April, I specifically asked just for local phone calls and no long distance services. The service worked well with the Long distance Blocking until last August when I was charged all long-distance calls, which were made by my relatives when they visited me without knowing that my home phone had a Long Distance Blocking. I called the company for an explanation but got no reasonable answer. I will not continue my phones service contract with Charter when my two-year term is over in April.
