I received a letter in the mail today, 9/12, from Midland Credit Management, Inc. Stating that they had recently purchased my Verizon Wireless account and that they were pursuing payment of a delinquent bill. They were also offering me a 40% discount on my bill if paid before 10/17. I was shocked to receive this, as I have NEVER had a cell phone through Verizon at any point in time. I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well as reporting it here. The contact phone number for Midland is: 800-265-8825, which I see is the same number listed on several other posts.
