I ordered PlaqueBlast online. "This was a $10 plus an extra one for free" TV offer. There are several cons in here:
1) they tell you it will take 3-6 weeks, but they can expedite it for $9.99.
2) there is a drop down list that is labeled something like "Extra packs". It is set to 1, and I assumed it was the extra pack from the offer, but it is actually one more extra pack - making 3.
3) You don't get to see the complete order until they have charged your card. This is when you get to see a $13.98 "processing fee", on top of $6.99 shipping and handling.By this time my $10 order was $40.97.
4) On any page where they try an up-sell, the "no thanks" choice is in small, pale type.

All through, this is carefully designed to hoodwink the consumer.

I called customer service and complained about the processing fee. The rep said nonsensical things like "That is with the shipping and handling". I got very angry and told her they were a bunch of crooks.

She said she couldn't cancel the order because it "wouldn't be on her system for 24 to 48 hours", but she would request a cancellation.
