I placed my order for the buy 1 get one free, just pay double shipping and handling offer. I was fine with that. After a series of upsells that I answered "NO" to I got my total and it was doubled. So, instead of $23.98 I was charged $52.40 for 4 Barkoffs.
I called the next morning and was told by Eva (#2006) that because I had just placed my order the night before she did not have it in her system, yet. She then told me she would request that my order be modified and only the 2 Barkoffs that I wanted would be shipped. She then told me to call back the next day or the day after to make sure it was taken care of. I questioned why I would need to do that as I had already spent 15 minutes on hold just to get through to her. She really didn't have an answer for that and asked for my email address (which they already have) so she could email me. Surprise! No email.
I did call back the next morning like she told me and the order has shipped! Even though I declined the extra $9.99 to expedite the order. The website says it will take 3-6 weeks and behold it has already shipped in 2 days. This operator told me the request was put on my account to "hold the order" but it still shipped. I was offered a $10 credit. I said no and asked for a supervisor
After another 10 minutes on hold, Melissa (#2084) the supervisor cam on and offered me the same $10 credit. She was worthless, too. I now have a Return Authorization for something that I didn't even order. They will not pay for my return shipping costs to them, either.
I am so angry at the lack of customer service by this company. I feel like I was totally ripped off and lied to.
Don't buy from Telebrands! They are thiefs!!!
