After several tries to tell Sears they were billing a Sears Card that I had cancelled and not the new card I had been assigned, they continued to bill my Sears Connect account to the cancelled card. I now discover that Sears has reported my non payment to the credit bureaux. So, at the age of
70, I now have an imperfect credit rating for the first time in my life, due to Sears apparent in ability to keep their records straight.
I would like an apology and some recompense for this embarrasment.
