A Sears salesman (Tom Shadmand) convinced me to sign a contract with Sears for siding and gutters. After the contract was signed, I had great difficulty getting in touch with Tom and other members of the Sears team. Some representatives could not even find a record of my contract and attempted to schedule another estimate! After all this, Sears said that their siding did not match the part of the house that already had siding. So, they switched to the siding that I already had even though they said it was far inferior to the Sears siding for which I'd paid a premium. Sears also refused to adjust the bill and denied some of the information that had been given to me verbally during the sales pitch. I luckily cancelled the contract in time to prevent them from putting the siding and gutters up. Avoid Sears.
