I have used Blooms.com twice and was happy with their website & the feedback I recieved from the flower recipients. However, on June 22nd I noticed a charge from an unknown company for $14.99 on my debit card. I notified my bank & thought nothing more of it until July 15th when I noticed a 2nd charge.
At this point I checked my messages from my bank & they said to contact the company & that if I couldn't get it resolved, to contact them. I called IdentityWorld.com and was told that I signed up through Blooms.com. I did no such thing & never would. They said that they'd give me one month's credit. I said that wasn't satisfactory and that I'd need to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor was supposidly on the other line and would give me a call back but the represenative I spoke to was unable to give me a rough timeline of when I would recieve a call back.
So I did a quick google search, learned about the other scam reports & contacted my bank. They're sending me a new debit card with a new number and filing a dispute for the total amount charged as we speak.
I called Blooms.com & learned that IdentityWorld.com is an official affiliate of them & notified them of the other scam reports & my experience.
I personally will never order from Blooms again because either their website is unsecure or their affiliate is dishonest, which is sad because I was previously happy with their service & quality.
If this has happened to you, I hope that your bank/credit company is as supportive of it's customers as mine.
