We agreed to purchase and build a new home with this company. All was going well until beginning of December when we were informed the granite for our countertops was taking longer than expected to arrive. We were told a phone call letting us know when it arrived would be forthcoming. We had previously planned a vacation to Disney long before the purchase of our home and left as planned to go to Florida.
During our vacation, the office called and said we would like to do the walkthrough of the new home on a date we were in florida. I said we can't do that and would do it upon our return. I never received a phone call letting us know the granite had even arrived. I was told since we could not close before the new years, they wanted and additional 4,000 dollars for going one business day past the new year. It was their fault we could not close earlier. I would never deal with a company again that deals with its customers this way. We purchase a new home one week later with another company, closed and everything. The home we built still was on the market. How dumb is that. This company is not even a member of the BBB in Houston.
