Purchased a Sears Oasis washer and Kenmore dryer at the same time.in less than 1 year service was required on washer, my insurance covered a part for over 600.00! I have had nothing but trouble with this washer. It is now being serviced for another 400.00 out of my pocket - no insurance. I recently paid 200.00 for repair on the dryer! I bought these appliances to accomodate my family, i am 71 years old and survive on SSI. I have read the complaints on this washer - why isnt something being done to protect and compensate these people? Sears was once a reputible store-it is no longer. I have dealt with the financial problem, the inconvenience long enough! I want compensation or results to this problem. Why should all of these people get "TAKEN".
