I purchased a Central Air cond and extended warranty from Sears. I have had this unit serviced every year since I purchsed it, the unit was just serviced again this year and we were told it is in good shape. Well, guess what I came home today and the unit is not working, I called sears and was told they cannot get here for 2 weeks. That is unacceptalbe especially since the reason I purchased the warranty and my understanding was that I would never have to worry about being with out air cond. Boy was I wrong, I guess what I also don't understand, is that if they can't get out here in an acceptable time-frame because they are overwhelmed with service calls, why on earth do then not sub-contract out and keep their customers happy and coming back. I certainly will not buy another appliance from Sears again, I guess thay is why it is best to stay with local dealers who take a personal interest in you.
