We purchased a warranty from Automobile Consumer Service Corp. On 02/02. The first time we sent in a claim it was denied. We sent the company written notice of our wish to cancel the service and requested a refund in accordance to the contract. After 60 days without receiving our refund, a call was made to customer service. I was told that they were experiencing a "back up" in the refund department. I was told that our refund would be sent to us no later than 30 more days. After no refund was received after the additional 30 days, another call was placed to customer service. Durring this call I was rudely told that they didn't know when they would be able to send our refund. I attempted to contact management, but a return call was never received.

I finally placed a complaint with the BBB. We received a refund, but it was $500.00 short according to our records. I called customer service (AGAIN) and I simply requested some sort of statement showing us how they came up with the amount in which they sent. I was shocked at how rudely I was told that they would NOT send any such statement. So now I feel as though other people should know the terrible experience we have gone through in dealing with Automobile Consumer Service Corp.
