I purchased an extended automobile warranty via phone and was issued a contract dated 11/17, golden key protection plan, admin by Automobile Consumer Service Corp. I had no car break down so there was no reason to call for any repairs.
I learned recently one their contract agent _ (Auto One Warranty) for ACSI had ceased business in March. So for almost 18 month I have had no coverage and did not know this.
My inquiry to ASCI was met with abrupt rudeness and a denial of any funding from their Agent and thus was not cupable. Some one failed to notify myself and possible other consumers that had been issued a contract, signed by and ACSC officer that would have not be honored if there had been an occasion to have the contracted vehicle serviced.
The moral of the story is ACSC is not a trustworthy company, let "buyer's beware". They were aware of Auto One going out of business and should have ensured the appropriate notification.
