After my Mother passed away, I had to rent a U-haul truck. I contacted the location at the Exxon Service Station in Short Pump (Richmond, VA) off Patterson Rd and Pump Rd on Friday, December 10. When I went to pick up the 10ft truck, I encountered the Female Manager who could barely speak English. She had a laptop computer and was entering info in so that I could get the rental. She kept asking for an "email address" to complete the process. I provided her with 2 valid email addresses and she told me that they were both invalid (which is definitely NOT TRUE). I use both of them daily. She lost her temper and began speaking another language to a man and finally I gave up and had to drive to the actual U-haul location on Broad St and Westmoreland to rent a truck. I definitely don't think this woman knew what she was doing and U-Haul should not be giving licenses to people who don't have a clue how to rent their trucks. Bad experience!
