I was offered about a month ago free 100 text messages for the following 120-day period. I received a call yesterday and again today from Verizon Wireless asking if I would like to upgrade my plan to accommodate my overage in text message usage. When I explained this offer, they were unable to find it, even after checking with the manager.
I logged into my account on Verizon Wireless page immediately after the call, and under "Promotions" section it clearly states this promotional offer I received. This goes to show that either Verizon Wireless is absolutely disorganized and do not know what each client has on their plan or they are trying to scam you to upgrading your plans to make more money.
