Verizon Wireless billed me $29.97, $19.98, and $9.99 for a 'Premium Text Message' sent to my phone over the last 3 months. When I received the 'Premium Text Message', some of which were mixed in with promotion offers from Verizon, I was prompted to reply with the letter "K" to cancel. Each time I tried to cancel I was charged.
When I called customer service the representive said they could block Premium Text from my account, but that the monthly 'Premium Text Message' fees would continue to accrue each month regardless. The only way to prevent the charge would be to text-message the third party requesting them to stop.
I have AMERICA'S CHOICE II as a plan and have been a customer for 8 years.
