On September 17 I signed up with Resorts 2 Rent after Denise very convincingly explained to me how I could make so much extra money on my timeshare by renting out weeks that I paid $99 for, for between $899- $1499 per week. I was skeptical but being tight on the money side decided that one rental would pay for the 12 weeks I prepaid for and then it would be clear sailing. Before I even received the contract to sigh, they took payment on my credit card, not only once, but twice 2 days apart. They refunded one, but shorted me $59.95 which I have being trying to receive back since Oct 7 to no avail. On Dec 17 I emailed and mailed a request to cancel and receive a full refund of the unused weeks which I was told I was entitled to, I received an email back from Ryan Winters to say it was forwarded to the processing department and he would contact me when he heard back. Still nothing. Today I tried calling the number 1-888-407-7747 which I have always used and is on all their correspondance and there is a recording that says the number is not in service. Their website is still up, both under Resorts2Rent and Resorts2Travel. Beware!!! This is a scam and I don't believe you will ever see your money again.
