Tried to Take Money From Me and I Have Zero Business Dealings With The Company

Magicjack did steal money from me and continues to try to steal money from me. At this present time and since last year, I have had zero business whatsoever with magicjack. Last year I tried the magicjack because I have friends overseas and was looking for the best rates, which lead me to trying the magicjack. I was very dissatisfied with the service issues surrounding the use of the product that seem to be ignored by the company.

If using the magicjack to call in the US, the issues I had are that there is no person to talk to when you have questions and the FAQ does not cover them all, nor adequately. There were program issues that did arise that needed assistance from company representatives but I could never talk to anyone. On the website, it says you can receive live assistance but there is no live assistance. This is false publication.

If using the magic to make international calls... BEWARE BEWARE And BEWARE!!! Especially, if you use a credit or debit card. The credit/debit card is the easiest way to add credit for international calls, if the person in the other country does not have a magicjack. The rates were low enough. What happened was there were times when I used my credit card but magicjack's system would say the transaction did not go through {oracle... Something or another}. There was no reason for it not to go through and still no one to talk to about it at magicjack. I did not know until later that though it said the transaction did not go through, and I did NOT receive the international minutes, my credit card was charged everytime. Even, magicjack would still sometimes send out the usually email stating that I received minutes, when in fact I did not. I used different credit cards, so I was now afraid that it had happened with all of them and quess what? It did. The defrauding charges I was able to find earlier enough, I had to fight seriously with my credit card company to assist me in a time efficient manner, so that I would get my money back before magicjack could successfully steal it from me. I placed a complaint with the BBB but the case was closed because magicjack NEVER responded. When I realized magicjack was stealing from me, is when I returned the magicjack to the store for a full refund, explaining briefly the program issues and dissatisfaction. Since I have not had anything to do with magicjack since.

I was shocked to learn this December that magicjack tried to steal from me again by making an unauthorized charged against my credit card. I don't have their product and they have not provided me with any services... This is open theft! The robbery was haulted and corrected thank goodness; and magicjack was unsuccessful in their attempt of robbing me again.

If this happened to me, I am sure it is happening to many others which means this company too is trying to get away with stealing from us, everyday people. It is my wish that the attorney general gets involved, if they are not already, to stop this outright fraud against us.
