Warranty on Sealy Mattress - Sealy Posturepedic Mattress

Please inform your mattress salesmen to
inform a purchaser to the specifics of the warranty. Notice of a ten or 20 year warrenty is not enough. Before a customer puchases the mattress, they must be advised by the salesperson that if, in the unforeseen event that the the customer thinks the mattress is faulty, they must provide proof to the warrenty company that the customer provide pictoral proof that the mattress has sagged at least 1 and one/half inches before they honor the warrenty. When I purchsed my Sealy mattress from Sears six years ago, I was not informed of this policy, and when I sent my pictures to the warrenty company today, they refused my claim commenting that the mattress did not sag enough. I would have never purchased my current mattress from Sears
if I knew about this policy. I also now question whether this policy was in effect six years ago. I'm truly very disapointed and unhappy with Sears! Since my claim was unapproved, I now have to purchase a new mattress - but not at Sears!
