This furniture store offers layaway. On 3/28 we put on layaway a kings daewin pillowtop firm queen size mattress and box spring to match. It was paid off by 9/24 with payment on 4/16/10,5/15/10,6/15/10 9/4/10. When we requested to check our purchased bed we were informed that they had remove our bed and shipped it to their warehouse and they would order it for it to be delivered on 9/25. When the delivery was made we realized it was defected in the center as if it was hallow. We called them and explained the problem and demanded it to be picked up immediatly. They picked it up that same day and requested we return the following day to check what they were to bring from the warehouse and so we did. When we arrived to the furniture store the following day they had not unloaded it from the truck and we were told that all mattresses of the same brand were the same and we had nothing to worry about. We than took their word for it and agreed to have it delivered that afternoon. When it arrived we removed the plastic cover and placed it on our bed frame and realized again that it was not what we had purchaced as soon as we sat on it the edge of the mattress all around would sink all the way down to the bed frame. It was not firm. We again called the store and demanded they pick it up and so they did and this time we followed the truck to the store and requested to speak the owner and was told he was not in and that the problem lied in the fact we took to long to pay off the layaway. With our receipt in hand we showed then they were incorrect and they then had no more to say other then they did not know what to tell us. Another manager assissted us and asked us to pick another if we were not pleased and so we did. We had to wait two weeks, they were rude, and obnoxtious. Their customer survice was very poor, And we suspected a scam among them as they put in display the original mattress and deliver poor qualitys of immation mattresses. I fear that customers are being scamed for their money. I advise someone to look into this further and investigate in order to bring justice to other customers. Sincerly Y.O.
