Monitor Startup

I have been complaining to dell since June that my Monitor is not starting up when I start my computer and that nothing is coming on the screen when I turn on the monitor. When I turn on the monitor manually it will show a green light for about 5 seconds and will click off. I told this to dell and they said I had a bad monitor and that my warranty had expired and I need to pay 56.00 dollars even after I did a monitor test as Dennis in technical support asked me to do and the test shows there is nothing wrong with the monitor. I asked why would the green light come on the monitor when I turn it on manually and the green light comes on about 5 seconds and cuts off but it will not cut on for 5 seconds when I cut on the computer they could not tell me. I told them I cut the monitor on manually and it cut off after 5 seconds and cut off and then about 45 minutes later the green light came on all by it self and shut off after five seconds he had some reason how that could happen. When I talked to them on the phone I told them that the dell logo and nothing was coming on the screen awhile later they told me to check and see and the dell logo was coming on and it said press F2 or F12 and neither button would work I relayed the message to them and they walk me through over the phone twice the just told me it was on the 27 and 29 of June or July both times the monitor started up when my computer the icons and he even asked me to connect to the internet after typing dell.com/bk2 and I told him it was taking a while because I had a lot of programs on my computer he told me to cut the computer off and I did he told me to cut it back on and the monitor did not come on and he told me I had a bad monitor I tried contacting them that Tuesday and the hung the phone on me 3 or 4 times in a row. I asked how could the get the monitor to cut on when I was talking to them on the phone on two separate occasions and no other time since then? It was a similar problem with the monitor and the monitor would not show anything and they fixed it and the warranty had expired even though they said it was a software issue my warranty had expired and they fixed it they had me thinking it was microsoft network helping but I check the phone numbers and it was dell they also have two billing department phone numbers and the person I spoke with in billing said that they only have one billing telephone number and it is 800-283-2210 Dell should pay me for my lost time and inconvenient.
