I have a Dell W1700 TV/Monitor that broke in less than 9 months. I had to call Dell for three days and they told me that they don't repair their own TV/Monitors. They told me they would send my a rebuilt TV/Monitor but I had to pay them $400.
It took me over three days to get someone who speaks English and I never got a straight answer from anyone who works for Dell.
I tried to have a local TV repair shop and a national TV repair company fix the Dell and they told me that Dell will not sell them the parts to enable them to fix the TV/Monitor.
So, Dell sells junk that they won't fix and then makes it impossible for anyone else to repair their junk.
Spend the extra 10% and buy at Sears where this would never happen. I learned my leason.
