I purchased my first Dell computer about 2 or 3 years ago. I was so happy with it that I purchased another for my son a week before school started.
When I went online to order the computer I saw that it was on sale for $499 and came with a Dell 720 printer and a mail in rebate for $150 dollars plus a free 17" flatscreen.
That would mean the computer would only cost me $349 dollars before any added on items. I rather liked this idea and purchased the computer online.
The computer, printer, monitor and the printer cable came. Unfortunately the monitor was a regular monitor, the printer was good but the computer actually cost me $600 dollars.
I never received my rebate plus the shipping and handeling that was supposed to be free, wasn't! I called Dell to speak with someone about it but I kept getting customer service reps that hardly spoke english and were hard to understand.
I am really pissed off about this and intend to continue to hound Dell until I get satisfaction. They really have a good product in their computers but everything else leaves much to be desired.
