On Monday, 11/09/09, we shipped a 5# package from IL to WA for Early AM service - $89. Xx. It was imperative it be there THAT DAY, morning preferred. They attempted to deliver 2x prior to 8AM, but the receipient was not in. Rather than try again THAT SAME DAY, the driver made the decision to come back again the NEXT DAY. Thus, he decided the early am was more important than the next day. He was WRONG. I am frustrated the the first 2 UPS CSRs I have complained to only justify this poor decision. I requested a $60 CR to pay for the 2nd day delivery received for $29. XX rather than the $89. Xx. Both CSR's say no. Am I crazy or did this UPS driver make a poor decision that the early am was more important than the next day??? I think we deserve the CR and an apology.
