At the end of August my husband and I called Supra Telecom to have out phone line transfer to a new address. We called 5 days prior to our move indate. We were told that by the time we moved in that our phone line would be ready to use. That never happend. We called the customer service line to find out why are line was not ready, they said that they were behind on processing some orders but that in 5 days it would be ready. They also told us that we would not be getting billed to the time that the line was not in used. We waited 1week and nothing.
We called back and this time we were told that they couldn't find our house. How could you not find our house, it hasn't moved? They asked for 5 more days, we agreed. On such date we called back because we had no phone line and out bill came. We were getting charge for that month that we had no phone. We called to dispute the charge and the account was credit back. So instead of waiting we decided to cancel the order. We requested a letter to show that we canceled the order but was told they couldn't do that.
In December we moved to houston, tx.in June we got a bill from supra telecom were we were being bill for service that we nerver got since Sep. Of 2002. Our bill was over $350.00. When we called to find out what the bill was for, they said that their record show that the line was in service since the original date the order was place untill now.
They wanted us to pay but when we gave them the confirmation number of the cancel order. All of a sudden, they couldn't confirm such number. Now it's more than one year, we never got the service we requested but we are being expected to pay. Since we refused, now the account has been sent to collection. If their records show that they never found the house hoe could you charge someone?
