The first time I visited Longhorn trucks rentals I was treated poorly. I came in early to pay the deposit to guarantee that I would have the truck on the day I reserved it. The guy that worked there seemed angry like he did not want to be there and he, especially, did not want to deal with me. Never spoke a word to me except the bare minimum that he had to. I thought to myself what ever that's his problem. I show up for the reservation right when they open, went, inside, sat down, and waited for my turn. About a minute later a guy wlks in and sits down beside me. When it became my turn the guy next to me jumps up and cuts in front of me and says" you don't mind right I have been here since 7am" I replied " But you were not inside at 7am". It was Saturday and they opened at 8am. The Black guy withe the cross tattoo on his left arm said" He was here I saw him". I just sat there with my jaw dropped saying" Wow really". I found out later that the guy rents from them allot so I guess he get special treatment. When it came my turn I was helped by the same Black guy with the cross tattoo. I could not believe how rude he was. It was as if I was the one who cut in line. He came across cocky and bitter. He gave me the bare minimum in conversation and would not look me in the eye. Towards the end of the transaction he did look me in the eye and gave me a really mean look. I could not understand I said nothing to him or acted negative for him to act that way. He would also ignore me and talk with other customers prolonging my stay. I could not believe I was being treated so bad! I had all my paper work and every thing should have went smoothly. I was not rude to him in any way but for some reason he either just did not like me or he hates his job. I have never been treated so badly by a business before. Unbelievable. To ad insult to injury I bring back the truck on tmie and they are closed. I did not know what to do so I waited awhile to see if some one would show up but they did not. I could not understand why he did not inform me of what to do. I left with the van because I did not want to leave it there for fear of liable damage or even theft. I show up the next day to turn in my key and I talked to the same guy again. He asked me, in a rude tone, why I didn't you leave the keys in the van. I said I did not know to do that. Also there was nothing on the door or inside that explained about proper return procedure. Then he charges me for another day! I leave and later that day I call and talked to the manager, who was no help. He defended the guy and had the nerve to say that he did tell me about the proper return procedure. I said how do you know you were not even there! He disagreed with everything I said and gave me serious attitude so I hung up!
