While checking my bank account online last week i discovered a charge of 39,95$ and another payment of 24,95$ for a purchase from a company called UBA, the strange thing is I have never heard of such company, never received any products of services from them, I even dont know what services they offer.
So after trying to call the phone number mentioned next to their name in the bank transaction I got a reply that their offices are closed, for the past week I called on every hour of the day and night, I get the same reply.
The internet was a big help, as soon as I googled their name all is mentioned almost everywhere is scame and usacomplaints.com, and also after geting 3 different phone number that belongs to the same company no body answers.
One of the numbers that belongs to them is 866-491-2180, this number calls me every day, constently and they keep on calling many times until I answer the phone they ask for my name and as soon as I reply they HANG UP, this is very rude, the most annoying thing is that every time I call this number no body replies.
With the help of internet I come to know that when they call me asking for my name and I reply, this is the verbal approval they need to keep on charging me, my biggest problem now is I'm unemployed, and looking for a job, this phone blackmail is creating a crisis for me every time the phone rings, I'm not replying to phone for job interviews because it might be them.
With all usacomplaints.com filed against this company I noticed a patern, they always reply that they got their victims info through a thrid party, and they are an anti identity theft company, this raised few questions that I must ask:
1- how come an anti identity theft company use such deviant & deceptive ways to acquire business leads?
2-what kind of service they offer if it's so hard to get a hold of them, it's almost impossible to contact them?
3-how they charge a customer without his written or even verbal consent?
4-the great reputation they are building for them selves as a world first calss ripoff company, how is it helping?
