Something told me this company was too good to be true, and dam it i was right. I was looking to start a truck driving career and CRST is pretty much in my backyard.
The recruiter i talked to is Sam H. This guy is so slick he could sale sand to the arabs and ice to eskimos. He first told me the training was two weeks, no big deal, than he told me two weeks plus 4wks on the road, than he told me after the 4wks on the road I would come back for orientation, than get this another 4wks on the road. WTF, this kept getting longer and longer.
When I first started talking to him, he said "You got a couple violations, but by March 15, you can come down and get trained." Ok no problem, I had a lead foot yrs ago, and a month wait isn't too bad I thought, and hell gave me time to get my endorsements. Well guess what, Slick Sam never pulled my abstract!!!
Now this morning he calls and tells me that safety pulled my abstract and i am not good to good, until November! I wasted all this time talking to this company only to be led around like a f*ing moron.
If they treat their prospective drivers like this, Iam glad I wont be getting my training from them, I can only imagine how they'll treat you once you sign on, and am under contract for 8 months (your under contract for 8 months when you train with the company)
Its going to cost me some money to get my CDL, but at least I can avoid the soap opera that is going on in CR. Hell I dont mind iam a w'loo Blackhawks fan.
