If you are looking to get into the trucking business i really dont think that crst is the place you want to start it. They treat there drivers like dogs. When i was on the road every crst driver i saw was not doing good at all. Its a shame this company is a rip off. The only money i made was in training. After that i made nothing.
Me and my co driver were living off of advances and family mambers would send us money just so we could eat and when i was on my way to texas from salt lake city ut i stoped at a truck stop in oakly kansas so me and my co driver could take a few showers then get back on the road.
After we had are showers we got back in the truck as i was pulling out a flat bed truck beside me claims my trailer hit his truck i know and my co driver know that i never hit that guys truck there was no damage to this persons truck and when the cops stopped me on the highway to tell me about this i came back to the truck stop to confront this idiot and the whole time i was there he never got out the truck not once. Boy i wish i knew were this guy was today... Well the cops ran mine and my co drivers cdl's and mine came back suspended im like what the hell so the goes to tell me that i have to go to jail because my cdl's were suspended. So im going to jail no court no judge but yet i have a bond that must be paid $700.00 at that.
So now im setting in jail for almost two days and my company could care less. So i call my dad he call my company and when i call me back he tells me that crst he said its not there problem. My dad finally paid the bail and get this the cop gave me a ride to the store to pick up my money from western union. Now im no exspert and oakly kansas is a very small small town in the middle of know were but im sure it was because one i was truck driver and they thought all truckers make and have alot of money on them that i was going to be able to pay up front no problem quick cash for there small tiny town. But that was not the case for me. Cause i didnot have no money and he kept asking me if i had any money laying around lol yeah right.
Well needless to say they got there money from the help of my dad and after all this crst fires me. Well you know what it was the best thing they could have done for me cause they suck and to find out why my cdl's were suspended it had something to do with the school i went to in kentucky mid-american driving academy. They did not turn some paper work in and now the school wont answer my calls. Sounds fishie huh. I could sue buit im not.
Im now going to start a business in advertising and online marketing but would still like to drive if i could fine a good company that is honest and cares about there drivers cause i love to travel... Peace and becareful about witch company you go with... And remember god is love
