I leased a Cadillac Escalade from GMAC. The truck was stolen for 4 months before they recovered it. Suprisely the vehicle was in good shape when recovered. The 1st month the truck was gone i called GMAC to make a payment. They refused saying the vehicle was a total lost. Month 2 i did the same thing. I havent driven or seen the vehicle in 4 months, i understand im still responsible for the payments. However GMAC starting call DEMANDING payment! I was shocked. Not only did they demand payment, but they also charged me LATE FEES!
I WILL NEVER EVER EVER IN LIFE LEASE/FINANCE and GM Product again. I tried to purchase American, but with this kind of hometown service who needs enemies. Never again gm! Never again!
