I was at the Cadillac dealer having my oil changed, there was a new Red XLR sitting in the show room. The F&I man saw me, as i just brought a new car there 6 months earlier. He told me he could put me in the XLR with no money down. I told him i had to get rid out of the other car first, he said we will worry about that later.
My FICO came back 613, the F&I man no problem, GMAC approved it, I could take her home right now. I did.
My payments were $1,300 a month for the XLR, plus $613 a month the car had. I had to get out of the lease for the other car ofcourse the dealer and GMAC, would not help me as they said they would.
I gave back the XLR four months later. I still have the other car, I am never late always on time.
Now, a year later GMAC is coming hard after me for the balance of the loan. And my credit id down in the basement.
I do not blame the dealer, he wants to sell anyone a car, but GMAC, knew I could not afford the car, but gave it to me anyway.
Yes, I am a fool to buy something I could not afford, but I was told that they would get me out of the other lease. So I could afford the XLR
