My contract from direct tv ended Nov. I wanted to see if i could get a lower price or a special deal. Of course they said sure. They lowered my price ten dollars gave me free movie channels for six months and a free dvr and i thought yee-haw! Life is good until i lost my job in Feb. So i decided to cancel the direct tv. Boy was i in for a rude awakeing. I was told i had to honor a two year contract. I said what contract? And have to pay $400. You got to be kidding! So here i am on usacomplaints.com reading all these horror stories and wondering what to do. What a shady company being dishonest and pulling this kind of crap never telling people anything about what there getting into. Gee another scam in good old usa maybe we can get a bailout to fix this problem with direct tv. Is there anything being done about direct tv dirty practices. If there is a lawyer who can take on direct tv ill give u the $400 because there is no-way in hell direct tv is getting it.
