Do not trust direct tv!!! I foolishly switched from Dish to Direct to lower my bill. I was told 'specifically' that we would have local channels within a few weeks. Um, guess what? A year later and still no local channels. They informed me that I would have to pay $240 to break contract... I believe they broke contract first. BUT they don't see it that away, they told me they were not obligated to produce local channels. If they is so then why did they bring up local channels first? I live in New Canton Illinois so anyone wanting Direct for this area I say look AWAY!!!
