I purchased a mattress at this store on December 2009. The mattress was new and in new condition. I picked up the mattress and moved it to my prior address. We used the mattress there until we moved to our new home. When we moved the mattress to our new home it was taken up a stairway to an upstairs bedroom. The mattress was laid on the floor because our bed was not yet assembled and the mattress support would not fit up the stairway. We slept on it for two nights. When I found a store that carried split supports I had them delivered. I then assembled the bed and put the mattress on the supports. It was at that time I noticed the mattress had a puff in it. I the called the store in February 2009 to report the problem and was told that they would send someone out to look at the mattress in a few days. The store sent out a rep to look at the mattress.
I was told that I would hear back from them in a week. They never got back with me, so I called them a week and a day later. I spoke to a manager that told me they would not warranty the mattress because the supports underneath were not solid they where spring. I told her I would call back later and speak with the owner. I called and left a message for the owner who then called me back. He also told me that they would not honor the warranty because of the support issue. When I explained what had happened and that the mattress defect happened before it touched the support he told that was impossible. We then argued over the issue and could not come to any understanding. I believe I was ripped off, and the warranty was not explained to me. I also believe the mattress should be covered under the warranty after being told what the warranty stated. This guy has no customer service skills and will not be helpful after he TAKES your MONEY!!
