My boyfriend and I heard about Kid to Kid from a friend of ours. It's a resale shop for childrens items. Well, we went in there about 2 to 3 weeks ago to sale our babies swing that isn't being used anymore.
It was a really nice swing (in mint condition), one of those Zen swings by Fisher Price. We paid over $200 dollars for it brand new. The owner of the store, (a short Asian woman), offered us $60 for it, cash. We decided not to take the money and to try and sell it elsewhere for more than what we were offered. She told us before we left her store, and I quote "If you can't sell it for more than $60, then come back and see me, and I will give you $60 for it."
Well, I didn't have any luck selling it for more than the offered price. So I decided to take the swing back in to her today to get the money she offered to give me for it... $60. When I walked through the doors of her store, I told her hello, and I was back to get the $60 she offered me for the swing. She said oh okay.
Well when it all came down to it, she turned around and offered me this time $42 cash, or I could take $54 in store credit. She told me that last time she offered me $36 cash for it. I clearly told her no she didn't, and told her that she offered my boyfriend and I $60 cash for it.
The woman had the nerve to stand there and argue with me, basically calling me a liar. I told her several times that her original offer wasn't $36, it was $60. But she still argued with me and said it was. I took the $42 because, times are hard right now and I needed the money.
But I guarantee that I will NEVER go back there!!! She is a shitty sales person, and a liar. I experienced extremely poor customer service there. I DO NOT recommend Kid to Kid in Lake Worth Texas to anyone at all!
