This company has continued to harass me now for almost a year now. This is after speaking to a representative and requesting NOT TO CALLED...! I have received up to 5 different CALLS from the same company/source a day sometimes and as late as 9:30 PM. This includes weekends also. They attempt to USE a recorded message at first to detect a live person. Then they will attempt a second call from a different exchange in order to speak to you directly. I am on the "NATIONAL DO NOT CALL" list for over a year. This has NOT kept these calls from coming through. This is ludicrous that the government allows this to happen. I know they are calling cause it always shows up as a VIRGINIA CALL and I know no one in Virginia. I also get calls routed from CANADA with a 506 area code with literally dozens of exchanges. I can't believe the FCC can not do something about companies taking such liberties.
I don't owe anyone anything. And even if I did, I should suspect that this method of trying to market or recoup a debt from a person would be useless.
This is just plain old harassment and too bad more people don't demand their just be a STOP put to ALL of this illegal method of solicitation and abuse of consumers.
If the consumer let this continue then the government cannot give just cause to intervene.
