Contracted with Icon Security in June for 39 month contract. From day one I had problems with the system not being connected properly. Called company and it took months to get a service tech out to fix it. During the months of July, August, September I had no system. Again, called company they did not fix the problem until October. I refuse to pay for the months I was without service so now they have sent my account to collections. Looking on line to see what NYS law is regarding a service contract. I also wrote to Attorney General's office regarding the company because I know I am not the only one with this problem. Icon only has one service tech in the area and getting an appointment is a joke. Currently I do not have an active alarm system yet they expect me to keep paying. I want to kick myself for switching companies.
