Walmart
Worst Service eve

I have a 1992 GEO Prizm... Very good car and great on gas. On September 3 I took my car to Walmart to get my oil change. Mind you that I have always taken my car there and always came out satisfied with the service except for this time. I arrived there around 5:30ish pm and didn't leave until like an hour in a half later. When I arrived there the girl pulled up my info and everything and took the keys to my car. As me and my fiance walked into Walmart I overheard a conversation between two guys that worked there that really didn't phase me at the time. The conversation was "hey (made up name because I couldn't remember his name) Don when are you suppose to be leaving?" "I was suppose to be gone home over an hour ago so I am going to hurry up and get these cars out of here so that I can go home before my girl gets mad.

I thought that if something is wrong with your car they are suppose to page you and let you know so that you can sign a waiver saying that I give them permission to change my oil after they told me. Well here I am thinking that nothing is wrong with my car and all I wanted was an oil change. That normally cost me like close to $30, but this time it was like $40 something dollars. I asked why it was so much and they said it is because I was being charged for air filters that 1. I didn't need and 2. They didn't even changed. They said that it was nothing that they could do and told me to pay for it because I asked for it and I am holding up the line.

Well I noticed that 2 months into having the oil changed, I was having a little bit of oil under my car. I thought that maybe it was from someone else car so I parked my car in a spot where there was no oil whatsoever. Came out the next day and noticed that there was oil under my car. I went to the gas station not to far from and brought some oil and put in my car. I called Walmart and they told me that they see why I am not having oil in my car because I haven't been there since May and they weren't going to fix my car. Well I looked on my receipt and noticed that they only put in 3qts or oil, spelled my name wrong and put the wrong telephone number on there. Their argument was that the info on the receipt was not mines and that they can't help me.

Around January my car started making a knocking noise and I thought that okay maybe I need to go and get my oil changed... Went to Firestone and before I could do anything the guy told me you are about to throw a rod and you need to get that fixed really soon. I asked him what about getting an oil changed and with the way that it is sounding they can't even changed the oil. All he did was checked the dipstick to make sure I had oil and there was no oil in there at all. So after all that oil that I was buying putting in there it was leaking out. The only thing that they could do was put oil in there for me to get me to where I needed to be. I told him that I didn't have any money and he said that's fine it's on the house.

Called Walmart back and told them what was going on and what Firestone said about me about to throw a rod and they are NOW denying that they weren't the last ones to touch my car. I told the guy that I wanted them to fix my car and he told me that "I'm not fixing your damn car. You are in your 6 months of past due oil change and it's not my fault your car is messing up." First of all my next service date was in December so I was only 2 months past due because I called them back up in Feb. They were the last ones because I have the receipt where it shows Walmart September 3.

What these guys are doing as well is counting from May which may I remind you have the correct spelling of my name, but I am looking at the receipt and they are in the wrong, but doesn't want to fix anything. Now in order to fix my car it's going to take $1800-$3500 to fix my car. Because of this I have not been able to drive my car and having to have someone take me wherever I need to go. I asked him for corporates number and since he wouldn't give it to me I looked it up and found it online with their CEO.

If anyone else is having this same problem and want that info please let me know and I will give it to you. Walmart needs to do something about this because to many people that I have read on here is having the same problems that I am having and it's not fair that they won't own up to their mistakes.
