My friend Liz and I had gotten a 2005 Nissan Altima at a dealership in 2005. The car was due for an oil change and we had ran out of free services at the dealership. So we took it to Walmart store 0194 in june and got a oil change.
During the oil change we were told that the oil filter and the oil was taken out and then 5 quarts of oil was put in and a new oil filter. So then we proceeded on with our lives.
3 months had passed Sept 06, Liz's dad is mechanic so we asked him if he could change the oil because it was that time again to do another oil change. Well he did it, but he took out the oil filter and asked us when the last time we had an oil change and we told him about 3 months ago at the walmart.
He showed us the oil filter and he said that the oil filter was the one that they give at dealerships so no stores carry them. Well He told us that Walmart didnt change the oil filter on the car. So luckily he changed it and i will never go to walmart automotive to get my cars oil change.
